The Crazy Pyjama Day
Children chatter
Playing and giggling about together
In onsies
Kids chasing each other around the school
Laughter fills the park
The day gets hotter and longer
Smelly,tired and sweaty kids
Stinky pjs fill the class
Grumpy and hot students thinking
“What will happen next?”

Pyjamas
by Hannah Bowen
Children's excited voices echo past the happy classroom
Pyjamas fill classrooms with color and fun
Teddys thrown in the air like little birds
Teachers wondering about kid's behaviour
Children finally silent but still whispering
Teachers nervously watching the colourful kids
Mrs Lees feeling so imaginative she could burst
Children glad it's almost home time
Children hot and bothered wanting to go home
Children with bright red faces moaning and groaning
Me thinking "When will it end!"

drowsy sun

Olivia's Crane Memoir
My eyes were stuck on this orange tall crane dangling from the sky . The hook slowly reached down, grabbing the sports shed. As the shed drifted across our class it was coming down slowly.
'I hope the crane doesn't drop the shed on Room 11!' I thought

Spot Light
There was a little voice coming from the tree behind me, at Yr 5 camp we were playing spot light,
“Who is that?” I whispered quietly
“Its me” the voice whispered back
“Who?” I repeated
“Jennifer” she said finally
I scurried over to her trying not to be seen. Next thing I knew they were coming this way. I scattered the other way towards the trees. I was now hiding with Gemma and Dean. We were still not found and they started another game.
I was having so much fun.

Christmas Memoir
“To Jade from Mum and Dad”
That's all I needed to hear before I was sitting down shaking and ripping the cellotape off my big present.
In five seconds flat the purple flowery wrapping paper was on the ground ripped into shreds, next there was bubble wrap. I could see a peek of orange fur. I kept tearing through the bubble wrap until I saw the back of a box, it was a medium sized box. Is this what I think it is? There’s only one way to find out.
I flipped the box around and YES! It’s what I thought it was-an adorable blue and orange FURBY It’s exactly what I wanted.
I gave Mum and Dad a huge hug and Mum told me there’s some batteries in the caravan. I went to get them and when I got back my Auntie called “PANCAKES ARE READY!”
So Kaia, Kaleb and I went over and got some. They were delicious but they looked hilarious. They were ripped and looked like fried eggs.
After breakfast everyone sat back down Kaleb and I went back to being Santa and finished opening all the presents.
